deposits and Pricing
How much does a puppy cost?
Our puppies are typically priced at $1700.
Goldadors are a breed that lean towards the higher price range for dogs and are quite often higher in price than the purebred labs or golden retriever. The reason being is because it is a designer breed which carry a healthier gene pool than a purebred. Please see our health page for more information regarding this.

You may find our pricing slightly lower than other breeders. We hope our price reflects your puppies worth but is also a fee that is competitive for this breed. We want to make our puppies accessible and affordable.
Not only are you getting a great mix but we also put a lot of time and finances into raising your puppy. Everything from our puppy housing, genetic testing and training takes an incredible amount. The way your puppy is raised can set the foundation the affects the rest of their lives, mentally and physically.
We enjoy putting the work in! It is incredibly rewarding and we aim to become better and better at what we do. To us, breeding is not a job. It really is a joy and honour to bring these little furry lives into the world and into your arms.

Please beware of cheap puppies.
Quite often it is a reflection of what went into caring and raising the litter. No breeder is perfect! But if you can purchase from a reputable breeder it will assist in reducing the amount of back-yard breeders and also encourage other breeders to continue to grow and do better in their breeding programs.

How does a deposit work?

If you would like to hold one of our puppies a non-refundable deposit fee of $250 is required. This ensures that you are a committed family that isn't just window shopping for a puppy. It is easy to be put on a wait list for multiple puppies from different breeders but when you back out and are not committed it puts a lot of stress on the breeder and takes more of their time, energy and finances to find a good home for their pup. A non-refundable deposit means you will not have to pay the entire fee for the puppy but also shows us that you are serious about your choice.

Deposits for future litters:

If you would like one of our puppies but the timing isn't quite right for you we do accept deposits to hold one for any upcoming year. We now allow deposits to be put down for any year, not just the upcoming year. We are happy to cater and make the timing work for your family. You are still welcome to keep an eye on when we are planning litters and feel free to be added to our mailing list without placing a deposit.
The total fee for the adoption of your puppy will be the fee listed during the year you contacted us. Because the fee is subject to change we honour the price that we were advertising at the time of you putting down a deposit. That means if the price increases yours does not. If the price decreases so will yours. No surprises or extra fees!

Deposits are refunded only in the case of not being able to produce a litter for unforeseen circumstances. We do our best to have a successful paring but nature is not always in our control. The deposit will be refunded in full or can be carried forward to a future litter.
